i answered a question and got best answer...but my e-mail is loaded with you have best answer for the same question and they are still coming in

In the past couple of days, I have gotten an email for every best answer I've ever given.
They changed the look of the notification email, so it's being sent to everyone for every answer.
Yahoo has a glitch, they'll figure it out and fix it soon enough.

Me too. Today I had 20 for the same question. Question is are they giving us all of these points for each notification. I also noticed that when I check my profile for my best answers the most recent ones are not even there.

I have encountered the same problem. I have racked my brain to figure this out and what I have come up with is the people at Yahoo are drunk and dumb. If they would just put down the vodka and concentrate on OUR needs, we could all be happy. But apparently they are making killer blood marys over there.

I had the same thing happen to me this morning...the question was something about Asians crossing over into North America. Your question may be different. I thought someone was playing a joke on me.

I had the same thing happen to me...got 15 for 1 answer....maybe it's a glitch where if someone rates your best answer as good, it sends another alert.

on the main "answer" page, there's a yellow bar near the top that will take you to an explanation.
