best stop illegal immigration? (Please indicate if you're left or right.)
Note: Smackdown 2 seems to go to against the status quo even though for the most part it was weak on specifics. Nonetheless, the ideas of all (except SPLATT) were thoughful. Smackdown 2 goes the left (as much as I hate that).

left-right you tell me ... well, if its as damaging to the economy as it is reported to be ... then why not build a frickin wall and a moat all the way down the boarder ... if china can do it so can we .... use prison labor or somthing to build it ... have cameras on top to spot any ladders or other attempts to go over and a couple of armed choppers to patrol it with warning signs all over of a shoot to kill policy. it could be done im sure ... as far as the illegals already here ... if they can show income let them stay on a trial-period basis for several years... they cant be arrested or apply for any govt assistance programs in that time and then they get citizenship if they pass it. they must immediately register though and anyone not registered is immediately deported on detection.

Prosecute those hiring illegal aliens. They come here because they can get jobs. The only way to stop them from crossing the border is to cut off those jobs. Some local governments have enacted such measures, but the feds won't do it.

Reinforce the Minutemen on the border with the HezBULLies. This will remove them from Lebanon and we can get peace there. They are used to being in the desert and 'defending' the Southern border.
This will solve both #2 and #3 problems at once. I'll bet you didn't think that solutions for these problems could be related.
What's the matter? Don't you like CREATIVE solutions? (I haven't seen 1 yet.)

Right-build a huge wall increase border patrol and national guard presence and go after the businesses who hire the illegals
and the ones that are here now get rid of them

How about enforcing EXISTING laws?
Compliment that with reduction of illegal immigration incentives (aka, the pervasive US welfare/warfare state).
I'm neither left nor right, life isn't so simple. (And left / right in America is a false dichotomy.)

Democrat--go after the companies that are hiring them. What would the incentive to come to the US be if the companies were truly stopped from hiring you?
