i know someone who went and got her tubes tied then 2 weeks later she found out she was pregnant. its her mircle baby. hes 2 now. she was pregnant for 2 weeks before her tubal, and didnt show up on the pregnancy test.

Sounds like she has lied to you. But sure, it is possible, but very very infrequent. Most commonly if a girl will get pregnant after her tubes are tied it is ectopic and there's zero risk of her carrying the youngster to time period. On a very very rare celebration the tubes can to find the ends and develop collectively, allowing preganancy. But considering she has switched round her reviews a lot, i would doubt her very a lot. She can have even lied about having her tubes tied to begin with. I'd demand a paternity scan if that's what she is set.

My friend got pregnant with her 2nd set of fraternal twins after her tubes were tied. That means not only one, but two eggs got through. Her doctor checked her tubes after he did the C-section and said it all looked fine, it was just a fluke. Her hubby just went in for a vasectomy so that it doesn't happen again.

Not any that I know of. But I did read up on some studies for that and it says that in RARE cases if the tubes were NOT fully cut or tied then there is a chance they can untie or reconnect if it was NOT done right. There is a chance that can happen. Good luck

There is a very slim chance that you can get pregnant while your tubes are tied, but I know someone that it happiend to. It is like a 2% chance it could happen.

It is VERY possible. The only SURE way not to get pregnant is to have EVERYTHING removed. I know women who had their tubes tied for 10 years and they got pregnant.

Well I don't know about all these answers... You can have a baby that is retarded... Haven't heard that one... Haven't heard that it only happens in 2% of women that do get thier tubes tied either. My mom had her tubes tied after she had my younger brother. About 5 years latter, she had my younger sister. She was and is very healthy. So she had them tied again. About 8 years after that she my youngest sister, who was and is healthy. The doctor said they just came untied, and so now she got them burnt. and I hope for her sake she has no more mircale baby's. Because thats what they are.

Hi,
It happens that you can get pregnant if you only have your tubes tied. This happens becaues sometimes the knot will work its way untied in one of the fallopian tubes. At that point with unprotected intercourse you may become pregnant. You may also have a normal child, pregnancy and birth.

YES-my good friend had her tubes done after she had her 2 kids then 2 years later parker came along. It can happen!! That is why they make you sign that paper beforehand so you can't sue if you happen to get pregnant again. They wouldnt' make you sign that kind of paper if it was 100% foolproof.
