Steve Nash. Don't forget the Suns were without Amare Stoudamire for most of the year and Nash carried the team on his back.

KOBE IS A BALL HOG=== LOOK AT THE STATS. NASH SHOT BETTER % IN EVERY CATEGORY, HAD 6 MORE ASSISTS, ONLY OUT REBOUNDED BY 1, IS 3 INCHES SHORTER, AND PLAYED 6 MINUTES LESS THEN KOBE.
PHOENIX WON 54 GAMES, LAKERS 45

QUIT THINKING "KOBE" AS THE NAME, AND THINK AS A PLAYER............

Kobe look at the load he had to carry. Nash just helped. Lakers should of won the first round, they got screwed. Suns payed the refs.

man niether of them deserve it
dirk novistki is the player that desevered it last year

they are making the MVP more of a statistical award when its soposed to beabout the importance of a player

Nash had a great team any passing PG would put up numbers on that team
I don't think nash desevered either of his 2 MVPs

all kobe did was ball hog becuse he didn't have any faith in his teammates maybe if he did the team would have gotten further

I really think dirk should have gotten it
I don't see what the mavericks would be without him

Steve Nash for sure, he is a very nice, considerate, and caring person. Steve is an asset to the team and all of basketball, a proud contributer to the community and the Team....The PHOENIX SUNS.

NASH!!! Kobe was just a ball hog im surprised he even averaged any assisst at all. Nash gave 7 teamates career highs in ppg! and he even had his career high too! and while kobe didnt belive in any of his teamates nash cared for his and thats why they got further than they lakers.

Depends on what you are asking about.
Are you asking about the smoothest player? Or, are you asking about the best court vision?
Kobe is the smoothest player in the NBA.
Nash is the best court vision.
Lebron has the best raw skill.
Vinnie is the best dunker.
Iverson has the fastest first step.
Ray Allen has the best shot.

It really depends on you are asking for!
