What is the "doorbell" noise I hear from my computer from time to time? It is not the error message from Windows.

Check IF the sounds Comes whn u r USING ==== Yahoo Messenger or other Messenger === as it comes whn u hav minimized the text window of the person u r chatting and thn he sends the a msg thn it comes ths doorbell DING DONG.....
IFF its not coming With respect to above condition thn GO to Control Panell and click on Sounds there u wil be able to find option of assigning and assigned Sounds on ur Computer.......

the sound is from a messenger service such as Yahoo! Messenger, AIM, MSN, ICQ, or any other instant messenger software, If you ahve windows messenger it could be that, if you have yahoo messenger, it could also be that, look around your system for some of the Messenging software I mentioned above. Hope this helps.

yeah i think it is your yahoo messenger wen someone logs in there will be a sound like hat or when someone buzzes u
