I've proven that it's the toolbar from yahoo because I can uninstall it and everything is fast and smooth but, the second I reinstall it I have problems. I don't have a problem with it in Mozilla Firefox so I'm just using that browser and keeping my Yahoo toolbar in it!!! I'm way to used to having those buttons up there.

Well I could use the short answer and say bad software... But what I will say is this when you install an add on like a toolbar many times they have functions where they need to do something for you on the web pages. For instance I use RoboForm which fills in passwords for me. Well for it to do that it has to scan web pages as they are downloaded into the browser, and the browser will actually wait on one of these add-ins to do its job, so if for any reason it is slow or has any other problem it can mess up your regular browsing.

I can't imagine why - but would be interested in knowing - why you are having a problem with Yahoo. I've been using it for years and like it a lot. What were the problems you had?
