I bought my nephew the homeopathic Hyland's Teething Tablets, Gel and the Drops and my sister swear by them. He was 5 months when he started using them now he is 9 months old. the cost is no more that 6 per box. You get more out of the Drops, these come in little 2" vials that you pour directly into the baby's mouth. You DO NOT touch the tablets or the put the gel on your finger to put in the baby's mouth because it loses its strength, therefore isn't effective for your baby by the time it reaches his gums. So the drops are less hassle and more effective. Good Luck

It says it on the BOTTLE! Read the DIRECTIONS. Sorry to sound rude, but it seems simple enough!!

"Please note, if your baby has been crying or has been upset, your baby may fall asleep after using this product because the pain has been relieved and your child can rest."

There is NOTHING it it to help your baby sleep. Yes it does have Chamomilla (chamomile) but it ALSO has coffea cruda (coffee). Also there is NO nightshade (reading the bottle as I type this) in Hyland's Homeopathic Teething Tablets.

When babies are teething, they have a hard time sleeping. The pain is relieved when given teething tablets. So then they can sleep better. It says so on the bottle.
Good luck with those teething times. My little girl is about to start.

Because the teething tablets are working. Your baby is worn out by the pain and when the pills kick in the pain stops which ables your child to go to sleep.

Is it possible that your baby is tired but can't sleep because of the teething pain? Then maybe the teething tablets make him/her feel better and helps him/her to sleep.

If you are using Hylands, its because it has nightshade in them. And its a natural sleep agent. Native Americans have used it for years.
I used Hylands with my first daughter. She cut like 4-5 teeth at a time.

I was always afraid to use them at night, because my doctor told me they have caffeine... but I guess your child is just relieved from the pain and able to go to sleep.
