Hi I'm GABRIEL and I know I'm sounding typical but **** happens. Did anyone find out late in the game that they were pregnant because a pregnancy test didn't confirm it? I missed my third period today. I can't get a positive pregnancy test and I'm horrified about going to the doctor because I've been reading about some of the things that can be wrong if you're not pregnant. My periods are always regular....and I've been feeling pretty crappy lately....How far along were you when you discovered you were pregnant. What took so long for your pregnancy to be discovered? How did things turn out? I'm 18 years old, engaged to be married, and I'm a college freshman...thanks

hi Gabriel, in my opinion you should visit your doctor, if you´re pregnant the only thing i can say is congratulations girl!!!, enjoy it, if its your first time, its always little scary because its something new for you, but don´t be afraid it´s gonna be OK, in the other hand if you are not, its very important for you to be check, don´t wait no more, i know you are brave enough to handle this and much more, good luck to you...

If you're really worried go get a blood test. I found out I was pregnant when I was 7 weeks. My periods has been regular and it usually comes on the 21st every month. But on April the 21st I missed my period and thought that I was just late. So, I waited 2 weeks and it never came and took 3 home pregnancy test and all came out positive but I didn't believe it. Then, waited again till May 21st and it never came. So, I went to the doctor to make sure and I was POSITIVE. I'm 19 yrs. old and 17 weeks pregnant. You should get tested now.

I found out at 20 weeks. Had ob/gyn appointments during the beginning of my pregnancy due to irregular paps and never thought that I was pregnant. Why the docs didn't know I have no idea. Had light periods during normal period times so it really never occurred to me until I started gaining weight abnormally really low. Asked the doctor if it was possible I was pregnant, they did a test which came out positive, and then sent me to emergency ultrasound. I was considered high risk because we found out so late and it's a pain in the butt because there are so many more doctors appointments to go to. I would recommend finding out ASAP. Best of luck!

I found on valentines day, about a month after well you know.....he planned it I didn't so thats how we know when we concieved, but I heard you need to take prenatal pills early on in the begining, and here I was literally a month and 2 weeks, and I was scared my baby was going to have problems, I'm still not sure if he will not but I'm due here in october YEA! (it's a boy:O) I say go to the doctors get a blood test done, thats what I did even though my 3 in home pregnancy test said postive, but I wanted to be 100% sure I was, so I got a blood test. Good luck :O)

With my first daughter, I didn't find out I was pregnant until I was 3 & a half months along. I was so caught up in work at that time that I didn't even realize it one day until someone joke-ingly asked when I was due. Luckily everything turned out just fine. Once I found out, I made a dr's appt. even though I was terrified, I still went. But with my second pregnancy I found out when I was a little over a month. There is nothing wrong with not knowing because you just haven't realized, but once you know, you need to go to the doctor. For your & your babies health. Good luck.

With both of my kids I was about a week late for my period.

With my first son I went to the free clinic for my normal check up and told her I thought I was pregnant and they did the test there.

With my second child I took a test at home and got a positive right off the bat. I mean I didn't even have to leave the bathroom to know I was pregnant.

It all depends on how high your HCG Levels are at the time of testing.

I took several test , all of them said negative. I was about 3 months pregnant when I found out . The blood test at the doctors didn't even work . I took two tests about 2 weeks ago and they both said negative. I took one yesterday and then this morning and found out that I am pregnant. I think I am about 1 month now.

I have not personally went through this but i have 2 close friends that have. They both had boys and they are perfectly healthy 7 lb babys. The over the counter pregnancy test are not always safe to rely on.One friend was 3 months along and the other was 5 months along.my advise is to go see the doctor so that you can take procation for your pregnacy.

I think you should go to the Dr right away. You probably are pregnant, that's the most logical answer, but if you aren't it's better to get whatever is wrong taken care of now before it escalates into something worse.
You'll be fine. The female body can handle a lot, so don't sweat it!

This happened to me and come to find out I wasn't even ovulating, no ovulation no period and it was because of stress. When I got a handle on the stress (Thank God) it came back.
