Right:
Promote democracy in the Middle East. Help inform the citizen of Iran, Lebanon, and Syria about the truth that their leaders have been keeping secret from them. Use mobile radio stations in the region to tell the western point of view. Kill as may as we can, they only respect strength(unlike the Democrats). Libya used to be a sponsor of terror until we scared the crap out of them by taking Baghdad in such a short period of time. They surrendered to the U.N. without a single shot being fired(wonder why the libs don't blame that on Bush?).

First off, there are others out there besides left and right, such as myself.

Now, when concerning terrorists, one of the first things you should do is look for signs. If there are warnings, heed them. Neither Clinton NOR Bush did that, and the WTC was victim of that neglegence twice. FDR didn't heed that, and soldiers stationed at Pearl Harbor, and their families, paid the price for that.

Once you know what's going down, act before they do. Stop a wildfire before it spreads, because it can spread damn quickly. Y'see, the idea of knowing it's going to happen is that if you do, you can prevent it. Wether Bush or Clinton or Franklin knew or didn't know doesn't matter. It's the fact that if someone makes a mistake, doesn't it mean to NOT do that same mistake?

First, I don’t care for affiliating myself with the right or left, since neither truly represent the opinions of sensible people, whose views, if well thought out, should be scattered across the spectrum of political thought. So instead of characterizing myself as right or left, lets just say I am part of the party of the SENSIBLE.

With that said the best way to handle terrorist aggression is not by involving us in conventional wars with countries like Iraq, who had no part in terrorist aggression against us. You don’t fight terrorists using traditional warfare.

Terrorist action is thwarted by undermining its ideological roots. Decimate the mosques, financial institutions, and its social centers that engender an ideology that lionizes terrorists and promotes their recruitment, and you will rid the world of the scourge of terrorism. Conventional warfare, that treats an entire people as complicit in terrorist actions, and punishes them for the actions of a few, does more to stoke the fires in favor of terrorist groups, and radicalize Muslim moderates to calls for violence.

In short the best answer to terrorist aggression is to do the opposite of what we are doing now. To “stay the course” when that course will cause you to drive off of the edge of a cliff isn’t called resolved. Its called arrogant stupidity.

violence certainly has not worked! So what do the neoconvicts do? They use more violence leaving everyone in a never ending cycle of violence.

the sh1t we stir up in the middle east only makes more people hate US and serves as a recruiting tool for terrorists.

What we need to do is open up channels of communication. Talking is always better than violence but the bush regime refuses to talk.

Well what else do you have left but war? We haven't tried talking, and if we do try its only for show.

Talking does work! If it didn't, we would all just walk around with pistols on our waist like cowboys in the Wild Wild West settling disputes with a draw.

We should harness the power of plate tectonics. Using that power we can displace the location of the oil reserves under countries such as Saudi Arabia, Iran and Iraq.

This will cut of the funding source for Islamic terrorists and move the oil to more friendly countries such as Israel and er, well Israel is about the only friendly we have there.

I swing from the starboard side.

We should use the CIA and black ops to take out the leaders. Large military operations only make the general populace in the middle east become sympathetic or even want to join the terrorists. Cut off the head of the snake.

I am left.
