A Staten Island satellite tv salesman has been arrested by the feds for beaming Hezbollah's al Manor tv channel on systems in NY. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/story/446536p-375957c.html

Why aren't we allowed to view whatever channels we want on tv? we are free to download whatever we want on the Net...what about Al Jazerra? maybe i want to watch Al Jazerra on my Dish...maybe i want the other side of the story reguarding the war...is there something the feds don't want us to see??

You opinions??

Your freedom ends where your fanaticism begins.

Sorry, bud, but this is america, we will not find out or know all of the ends and outs of this country and it's wrong doings.

You will only know what they want you to know and that is the end of it.

When the news comes on TV, do you really think they are telling us the "WHOLE" story??? NO WAY, there is so more dirt that this country is involved with and guess what, you or I will never get the real story because I am sure it is not very pretty if we knew the real deal about the USA.

What other reason would it be for that man to be arrested for showing the news from the country we are at war with?

Eh, war or no war, there are always two sides to a story and I don't believe america is squeaky clean.

That's my opinion

I would like to watch Al Manar. I made a question about this because of this incident. I check several news sources so I know what is going on because I live in SE Michigan where there is the highest concentration of Muslims outside the Middle East.

There are sometimes translations of speeches by Nasrallah on various websites.

Here is an article about a city called Dearborn that has been jokingly renamed Dearbornistan.

My opinion, as a Marine with 30 years fighting for this great country is the Government needs to do whatever it takes to keep America safe. If you want to see the terorrists side go over and visit them and ask why they want to kill you. As far as beaming Hezbollah news around the country! Gee I wonder.

If Hezbollah is really behind this channel, I would think the government would want us to see it to see what kind of people we are up against. Obviously, there is something embarrassing they are broadcasting, which is why our government is violating the First Amendment yet again.

Keep voting Republican, people! We still have too many rights!

Perhaps they view it as his supporting terrorists. Why on earth would he want to hear what Hezbollah is lying about? And how is that freedom of speech?

Same thing that happened to freedom of -anything. It's all been twisted into laws and by-laws we don't understand anymore. If our forefathers could see it now!!!
