2. Breathe in and out of a paper bag.
3. Hold your breathe.
4. Drink water.
5. Have someone scare you. If you expect it, it doesn't work so well.

breathe in and out of a paper bag. Trust me this will work because hiccups are abnormal contractions of the diaphragm muscle. If you deprive this organ of oxygen by breathing into a paper bag, it would stop doing this.

ok this serisouly worked....
lay a towel down...
lay down and put your head over the towel...
have someone pour water in your mouth...
you will start laughing nad with the mix of laughing and water you wont have any breathes for hic ups and they will go away!

swallow a little packet of sugar or sweet-n-low --- it'll fix it every time (believe it or not we used to use that in the clinic i used to work in -- i'm a nurse)
