Extra car and house keys? You must've really had a close tie with this neighbor. Frankly, I wouldn't share such items with ANYONE, regardless of my trust in them. You can ask for these and "other" items back, but don't look for such to happen, seeing's you have made your understandable anger clear.
Just for safety's sake, I'd get ALL the house locks changed--and if you're willing to forgo the expense, have the car ignition/door keys changed out too. The latter proves to be an expensive lesson NEVER fully trust anyone.

I would say no way. If someone is going to blab personal information about you, especially to someone you know, then you CANNOT trust that person. But before you take your things back, I would talk to him. Tell him how you feel, that you were betrayed by someone you thought you could trust. Then let him know that you would like your things back. Tell him that until you feel he can be trusted again, your things will remain at your house. But make sure you aren't too mean because he could blab more info. about you since he's mad.

Depends on how personal. If it is your deepest secrets I would be doing exactly what you are doing and let him know that he crossed the line. He needs to know that if he intends on having people trust him, he cannot share things like that. So, as of that I don't think so.

i would be pissed off but i would first ask why did you do a thing like that and see what his answer is then go from there i don't no how long you guys have been friends so i cant answer if you are over reacting but no one has any business talking about your life but yourself so think about that.

you do have the right to be mad. they told your secret and they shouldn't have. you have every right to be mad and take away your key etc becuase they broke your trust.
