Just about every Cellphone battery has a sticker on it.
Normally it has a red or pink line running across the white sticker.

What does this sticker represent ?? anyone know ?

Simply to protect the terminals from being damaged.

You remove it b/4 using the battery.

I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about, but every cellphone, and most cell batteries have a little sticker with some depth to it: white, sometimes with a stripe. What those do is turn completely pink or red when exposed to water. That way the cell dealer can tell if you dropped your phone in water or not, and therefore not have to give you a replacement.
