I don't think they even knew dogs were around. Dogs came from Europe. They're from Africa. How do the dogs get there? I don't know...

the greyhound was the most important dog for them,they had thousands of them at the front of their armies,they would release them first to attack their enemies,if you look at some of their stone relief art you will se what i mean.

wel at that time they respect cats because it was their god's specially black cat. but the dog it was just an animal
