Am I the only one that found the plot of this movie disturbing?Daughter pretends her Dad is her lover to attract a guy,and Dad goes along with it.Is it any wonder Disney took it off the shelfs.What do you think?

I agree, but I still liked the movie,and the actress that played the daughter, where is she now? The dad was creepy anyway!

I'm so glad to hear somebody else say this. It was definitely inapprorpiate. The other I find somewhat disturbing is Little Mermaid. Just hear me out. Here's a young teenage girl that defies her father, leaves her family, changes who and what she is and all this for a man she barely knows. And in the end, it's happily ever after. Not a good lesson.

It was really just a funny movie back then when it was made all this sick stuff of molestation wasn't talked about. They thought it was a good idea and back when I saw it when I was like 13 I really liked it and watched it all the time. I was innocent and it was made in a more innocent day and time. I actually have talked about it lately and saying how i hadn't seen it in forever I didn't realize they had pulled it.

It is creepy, but I liked the movie too. The actress is doing a lot- She is in "Greys Anatomy" as Izzie Stevens.

i saw it at the movies, it was so long ago i don't remember it very well... i don't think i found it disturbing then, but i'd have to see it again to make a decision.
