As a mom going for the degree while raising two kids and working outside the home, I just want you to know that this is not an easy road and I think anyone else who is doing this deserves a round of applause.

Who of you deserve a round of applause today for also doing this?

(So I can decide who will get the 10 points, tell a short sentence or two about what you go through, such as degree, kids, and type of work, etc)

My daughter is a parent of an almost 3 month old daughter. She works at Walmart part time in the evenings, when I am home to watch the baby and also is a full time student. She is working towards her degree in Early Childhood Education as she has wanted to be a teacher most of her life. Thank goodness the majority of her classes are on-line and she can do most of the work and research from home. I give her a great deal of credit. Many teen moms drop out of school, but my daughter has the will and the drive to suceed in life, and the "want-to" to be a good provider for her daughter.

I'll gladly give a round of applause as well since I am a student with a full time job and a part time job and I'm struggling so my hat 's off to anyone who manages to be a parent as well.

Let's see... I'm studying for my teaching certificate to teach elementary school. I work as a substitute teacher and a house painter in addition to carrying 16 credit hours this semester.
