Get a fat friend to put them on for a bit.
What? It's a valid response. Seriously.

Maybe put them on when they're wet, then take them off to air dry. They should dry in that shape. It works for baseball caps. If you use dryer sheets as softener, your jeans might feel a little "hard" because of not getting softener.

Read that if after washing them they are tight, to steam iron them and pull. I have never tried it so I really don't know how well it works. Try washing in cold and either drying on low heat or not at all. Good Luck.

Wash them in cold water, do not dry them! Before they are completely dry sqeeze into them and squat & hold that position for as long as you can a few times. Worked for me after I had my son.

put them on and do stretches in them, like leg stretches and anything else. also, i think washing them before you wear them helps stretch them out because it wears them out.

Swim or bathe or shower with them on, then wear them around the house until they are dry.
