I use a small scissors to carefully cut away the excess hair first, cutting as low as possible. I then use the razor to define the edges. I never clean shave cause that really itches when its growing back. You can also try those battery operated razors for dry shaving. Remember to shower afterwards. Aint nothing wrong with shampooing and conditioning down there....or use a great smelling bath /shower gel. Makes "it" smell great. Never use perfume or lotion. Please remember to always use a shaving cream when you are not using a battery operated shaver as this prevents bumps. Another way to prevent bumps is to shave in the direction that the hair grows. When you shave in the opposite direction of the hair growth the hair sometimes retracts into the skin and this causes bumps too. Always take care when caring for the private parts. All the best!

Cut the hair short first, either with clippers or scissors.
When you get to the actual shaving part - use a fresh blade and lots of moisturizing shaving cream (the generic brand Aloe vera stuff is good), shave in the direction the hair grows, usually downwards. Once you get close to the really sensitive parts, if he wants it shaved that far down, go slow and be very careful - nicks and cuts in that part of the anatomy don't heal so quickly. Once all done, rinse off good and apply a moisturizer or light lotion/oil to minimize razor burn.
One tip - if he shaves down there, it has to be maintained or A) it'll start irritating him a lot and B) it'll irritate YOU a lot during intercourse. It's just like anywhere else - hair will grow in faster and thicker after shaving.

First of all he's going to want to trim away some of the unwanted hair with a small pair of scissors-so that its manageable for a razor. Men usually shave in the shower so like we do-use a soft shaving cream or gel ( I would not recommend face shaving cream) use something like coochy cream or a soft soapy substance or even some of your shaving cream, He's going to want to shave the unwanted hair slowly so as not to cut himself. Enjoy the results!!!

First you need to trim the area to about 1/4 of in inch long. Then apply a good moisturizing shave cream. Gently shave the areas you want. Just like your face.

my husband shaved all of his off once and he became very irrated around his thighs, this was because of the jeans rubbing on them.
I would suggest trimming the hair back, not shaving. Trim it weekly and closer each time to the skin so he can get used to it.

Go to a proffesional hair remover and tell him/her he just wants some of it shaved off.

dirty question..but there is an answer -- take the electric shaver (the one you use for the beard...i mean he uses I assume for the beard) and ...get the trimmer part out -- and then go easy...on the amount and length...of whatever you want to shave...hope it helps...i do shave that way...the top of my dog's hair...

Get him an electric razor with the adjustable length thing. Or some good nose scissors. LOL.
