I washed them and ruined the backing

I washed 3 pairs of them in the washer and the one pair came out all scrunched together and when I tried to pull it apart the backing pulled off too

You'll have to buy new backing & sew it on them nothing else that you can do there ruined.How did U ruin them by just washing them it makes no sense I wash mine all the time & nothing has ever happened 2 mine lol

You must have washed them in hot water OR placed them in the dryer.
Unfortunately, I don't think you can do anything except buy new curtains.

Did you dry them in the dryer? That is most likely the problem.. How warm was your water?
