When my water broke it continued to leak out (kind of slow, but I could tell). If you peed and wiped and you're not still gettin "wet" it most likely was not your water. However, if you really aren't sure it would be a good idea to call you doctor and let her know, because it can be bad if your water breaks and the baby isn't born fairly soon.
Congrats!

You will be able to tell the difference. My water broke on me twice. First time it was a giant gush during my nap. Second time it was an itty bitty bit, but when I walked more came out. But sometimes your water doesn't break untill you are in full blown labor. The time will come! You can wait, once baby comes time passes so fast!

I didn't know that mine broke. I thought I just had a weird DC. But I called the hospital. They told me to go to the bathroom to pee. If I continued to have the leaking I should go in.
Turns out my water broke, but it was just dripping cuz DS head was in the way.

Well if you feel something like a waterfall between your legs well then your water has broken..and believe me when it breaks is when the labor starts and YOU WILL be able to feel it

You'll know. Even if it happens when you pee. When you get up and try to go on...It will leak. Amniotic fluid is constantly being made....you will leak and leak and leak....
You'll just know.

I was told that amniotic fluid smelled sweet, completely unlike urine. Turns out, they were right.

You will know. It's a gush of water and it doesn't feel like you are urinating.

trust me, you will know. it is way more fluid then you could ever pee. plus, you know when you pee. you have no control over your water breaking. it is the weirdest sensation ever.
