There seems to be a standard for hotel peep holes, what is it? How high should it be to accomodate everyone's needs?

I personally put mine as high as the smallest person living in my house...(My wife is only 4'11" so, that was the height).
Since the lady in your life is going to be the one most concerned with using it, I would make it "her" eye level...
Now, I had children, and we had a small stool that they put in front of the door, if someone knocked and they wanted to see who it was.
But, they have since grown up, and dont need the stool and its just right for each of them too.

Return the favor! Start reporting HER and her husband! One, he was trespassing on your property, get her for extreme mental harassment through all these phony complaints she is making about you!! Of course there is one more solution and a permanent one! MOVE! If you can't sell the place, rent it out to some poor soul, maybe THEY can deal with this woman!!! Personally, if she is costing you money - I would walk away from the whole damn place and let the bank fight with her!! Just remember, when you go to court SHE has to prove harassment against you!!! It's not a she said, she said anymore. She has set up her own record of making complaints about you, if you HAVE an attorney, why the hell hasn't he done some investigating on her!?? Just tell the judge you are too busy AVOIDING this woman to be accused of harassing HER!!! If this is affecting your health, get a doctor's note that she has put you under mental and physical stress because of all her ****! YOU can sue her for that!!!!

I'm a manager of a hotel in a chain. Our peepholes are cut at 5 foot 5 inches. We actually get audited on that nonsense. God forbid our maintenance man hang a new door and drill the peep hole an inch too high to too low.

I got a short wife so I put it where she can look through it. Everyone taller can stoop down a little bit.
