At a local dollar store they probably have a bottle of powdered Cayenne pepper for .50 cents or a dollar. This will last you a long time. Just sprinkle onto the plants you want to protect. Rabbits will still try to nibble on your yummy plants, but once they taste the cayenne powder, it sends them for a loop. They quite literally start running around madly in circles and do flips once they've tasted it, and they learn to not eat from your garden. It doesn't harm them, it just surprises the heck out of them, and they don't like it. The only thing is, is that you have to reapply after every rain.

Couple of things you can sprinkle around the flowers: moth balls, baby powder, hot pepper flakes, ground cloves, fox urine (yes, you can buy this), dog hair, cat hair and human hair. You'd need to reapply after every rain.
Still, they might just get used to these scents and invade the garden anyway. The best way to keep the rabbits out is to put up a good fence...one that's sunk about 6 inches into the ground to keep them from digging under it. And high enough so they can't hop over it. Good luck...they're very determined little creatures.

Blood meal, bone meal, human hair are all remedies we've recommended in the past to our greenhouse clients. None work like an interested dog, of course.
This year, we added a new tool to the arsenal. Liquid Fence comes in a rabbit and deer formula (Fox urine is, I think, the main component.), a dog and cat formula and a snake repellent formula (This one uses lots of lovely herbs and "putrefied egg solids. Yum.). We had really good reports on the effectiveness of the rabbit and deer formula from a local Master Gardener who was loosing her petunias to rabbits. We sold out of both the rabbit and deer formula and the dog and cat one.

It might take a lot of pepper, lol. Rabbits are just happy eaters. They will eat and eat and eat. They are neat to have though. Unless you confine your rabbits, you will probably have them getting into interesting green plants like that.

Rabbits don't like Marigolds. So plant them around the edges.

Sprinkle black pepper around the perimeter of your flower bed. I don't know why this works, but my Mother-In-Law (another Martha Stewart when it comes to gardening) swears by it!!

Get a small dog who likes to chase rabbits. Beagles are best for this.
