That is 'supposed' to be the purpose of our Presidential elections as apposed to a matriarch with Kings and Queens.

that is totally opinionated so are you asking for facts? Either Way I'll give you my opinion, but please, DONT PLEASURIZE!

I believe that power can be maintained without deciet. In fact, it could be maintained much better without deceit. This plays off the fact a good leader, one who has power, can maintain his or her power by not being morally corrupt. The people under the leader would respect and honor this person much more because they would told the truth and know exactly what is going on with their lives.
