For the past few days, I get a quick sharp pain after urinating. I've also felt as though I still have to urinate even after just urinating. These symptoms come and go though--one day I'll feel this way and the next I won't. Or it'll last for a few hours and go away--then come back later. Just last night I started feeling tender in my lower stomach area and (I know this sounds WEIRD) I can't stop laughing. It's sort of like when you hit your funny bone--that's what it feels like when I touch my lower stomach (again, not all the time). It sort of feels like I'm feeling something else--like my lower stomach isn't a part of me or something (you know how it feels when the dentist numbs your gums and you touch your cheek? The way your face feels like it's not a part of you?). When I say it doesn't feel like it's a part of me, I meant in a body sense---I can actually feel it with my hand. Does that make sense? I can feel that something is wrong b/c my body is telling me that way.

By the way, my mother has had Urinary Tract Infections and she doesn't think this is it.

Lord of the Jungle----Who the hell are you? Get a life loser. Furthermore, I can't go because it's too late. I have to wait until Monday unless I go to the ER.

Also, I do have back pain. I don't know if it's from this or because I helped my mom paint her kitchen about a week ago.

It's either a bladder infection or a kidney infection. If your lower back hurts too, then it's most definitely a kidney infection. If it burns when you urinate, it's more than likely a bladder or urinary tract infection.
Either way, it's very serious! I almost waited too late to go to the doctor one time with mine......he told me if I would've waited one more hour, I would be in the hospital.
For the time being, try drinking cranberry juice. It really helps. Then seek a physician Monday!

btw, you said that you know your body is telling you that something is wrong. why are you asking complete strangers on the internet a very serious question like this? if you know something is wrong, GET IT CHECKED OUT.
