Depending on how big the files are, you might be able to attach the file to an email and send it to yourself. Than open the email in the Philippines and download to that computer. Or, you can save all the files to a flash drive or portable hard drive and take it with you to the Philippines and move them from the flash drive to the computer over there. For the software, you will just have to reinstall it on your computer in the Philippines.

I would take the hard drive from the computer in america with me to the philippines computer install it as a slave and transfer the files from the slave drive to the master drive then import your programs by useing a "briefcase" file type I found in a program sold by the http://www.v-com.com website the program is titled "System suite 6" the briefcase thing will even handle basic registry keys for program transfers. But the best advice I can give you is talk to the guy who posted before I did who has 20+ years experiance in the field he's better equiped to handle any prblems that comeup, than I am. I hope this helps you.

1. Duplicate your HD and courier it to your destination
2. Use DVDs to make a backup of your disk and send the DVDs
3. If sending single files, send it to an email account that can be accessed across 2 locations.
4. Make a shared drive on your computer, accessible from across multiple locations and on the destination, just drag and drop the files

...
I can go on and on .. but to give you the best answer, I will need to know:
- Amount of data to be transferred
- Security required
- Real-time aspects (does it need to happen in 10 seconds? 10 days? a month? or best-effort delivery?)
- Etc.

.
Try to Zip the file, and email it through an email program that is accessable over the internet like Yahoo or Hotmail.
If the file is LARGE over 250 MB, up to 750 MB, it to a CD, and physically mail it to your other physical address.

If the file is over 750 MB up to 4.3 MB burn it to a DVD and physically mail it.

Otherwise, you'll have to set up an Remote Network, map the drives, and give the computers "permission" to access each other over the internet. Instructions within OS XP are in the Explore HELP section.

Send it via e-mail. Or get a free online account that stores files.
Use google to search for ones that are for free.

You can use http://yousendit.com to e-mail files to yourself if you'd like. The file will be downloadable for 7 days from YSI's servers.
