If you are talking who has more strength, superpowers, and captures the ideals that most people can relate to, that would have to be Superman. Spiderman is hip and cool but he doesn't even come close to being as powerful as Superman. Also, Superman is the only superhero who has a secret identity to protect himself outside of being a superhero, almost always it's the other way around which is why most people relate better to him, it makes him more special.

Pretty broad question there. Best at what? If you're looking for the super hero that portrays the best moral and heroic qualities it would have to be either Captain America or Superman. Both are untouchable as true heroes.

Superman.
Batman, Spiderman and Wonder Woman have to wear costumes to become a superhero, Superman wears costume to become Clark Kent. Bruce Wayne, Peter Parker, or Dianna are ordinary people without their costume, but Superman has to fake it when he becomes Clark Kent. I reckon he is the upside-down type of character, he even wears his underwear outside his rubberpants. LOL.

Spider-Man would be my choice because he does face everyday struggles that everyone can identify with. He's a everyday person with everyday problems, and all while being a superhero.
