I think the answer your looking for is in the South park movie. the canadians didn't know what they were talking aboot and they ended up going to war with The Baldwin brothers i believe thats why. seriously i have no clue.

From everything I have heard, the only negative comments we have traded with Canadians are just good-natured joking around. It is sort of like we are cousins teasing and playing pranks on each other.
I honestly don't know anyone that bears negative feelings for our Canadian neighbors. Americans generally feel love and and enjoy peace with Canada.

As ugly as it sounds, Larry is at least partially correct.
A question I would ask, is who in the world is NOT saying negative things about Americans at this time?
As far as Americans saying negative things about Canadians, fact is, most Americans don't know anything about Canada. Ask the average American to name Canadian cities (most know about 2 or maybe 3) or the Canadian provinces (again, most know at most 3).

Have you every gone to Canada to do a job. My son did and they made him stay at the airport and take a return trip back because they said that job could be down by a Canadian. Now if the US did that Canada would be up in arms.

Actually to tell you the truth Canada and America have a good relatioship, it's just stupid kids like to make fun of people that aren't the same as them, anyone with an imporant voice between the two get along.

Having spent a good deal of my life in a Canadian-US border town, I have never heard anything hateful said.

Its because canadians are educated about americains and do to our education we can realize that they are stupid, americans on the other hand are barely educated so there for hate everybody, don't worry its not just the canadians they hate.

Don't know about Canadians, but I don't badmouth them. I think they're just like Americans, except nicer and less arrogant. (I'm American.)
