Why do some girls (& women) not shave under their arms, & their arms?

Is that considered natural or don't they believe in using a razor? Makes you wonder if they are both male & female.

Many Hispanic girls have some hair on their arms.

I think it's weird to shave your arms but underarms you should shave. It is nasty not to shave under your arms so I don't know why you wouldn't, then again why don't guys shave their legs and under their arms, it's pretty horrible to see! Shaving your arms is a cultural thing so if your brought up to like your brought up to shave your legs then it's normal but most people don't shave their arms!

Hair is natural. Shaving is not. Also, there's concern that women who both shave their armpits AND use deodorant might have a greatly increased chance of getting breast cancer. I'm still a little shocked every time I first see a woman's bushy armpit. I mean, eee-gads...it looks like a tarantula on steroids or something. But, armpit hair doesn't bother me as much as hair on the legs long enough to braid. All I can do is stare. Have you seen hairy legs like that in pantyhose? To each his or her own.

I kinda' go with the idea that they think it's a turn-on for men. Baloney! If they want to turn men on- not smelling like an extraordinarily filthy goat won't hurt. Or...they are what I'm told by a guy more sophisticated than I am - they are French women. (Forgive me, Lord. But I'm merely passing-along anecdotal information via a world traveler.).

people differ in a lot of ways. what can be normal in the states may not be normal in other countries. i've noticed that european women don't shave but that thing don't bother them so why bother you? it's culture or it's the norm for them. above all, that doesn't affect their everyday life. it just so happen maybe they live elsewhere and what they considered normal seems weird to other people. we need to be open-minded on other people more often.

I shave my arms and under my arms. I'd rather not have hairy arms-----so I think everyone should shave their arms as well as under their arms. Furthermore, I think MEN should shave under their arms too. YUCK.

PS---I love men, but I really hate under arm hair. It's nasty.

well im not sure why they wouldnt want to shave under thier arms. but since when are we suppose to shave our arms? i didnt know that that was requirement. but thier could be many reasons. sometimes they dont want to other times it could be against thier religion, or maybe they just forgot? hey nobody said we were perfect

i shave my arm pits but maybe they feel good or normal with it although for some people its very normal 2 have hairs on there arm pits for some reason

Maybe because 1 they dont have hair on their arms ( I dont, but I shave my armpits). or 2. Its against there religion.

First, why would anybody shave their arms?

I don't know why any woman wouldn't shave her arm pits,but it is personal preference I guess.
