Any thing good to eat back then?
I remember i had to drink milk or chocolate milk from like pouches that looked like you saw donated blood in. We stuck a straw in the square things. Oh, yea, the cinnamon sticks, only 50cents

I think I've repressed the memory so far down that I cannot recall it. I see small floating lights and loud screams. I can remember only bits and pieces. Green pudding... oh wait... that was gravy maybe... It's too hard. I can't remember.

Oh, I can definitely remember my school cafeteria..my youngest goes there...lol. Let's see, I used to love the pizzas and the tuna on a hero. The drinks was always milk or chocolate milk, no vending machines like they have today. We used to buy the big chocolate chip cookies that came 3 in a pack. I think it was .35 then. I wouldn't eat their macaroni and meatballs...that stuff looked and smelled NASTY!

I remember it well although it was a long time ago. The milk was in cartons and there were no vending machines. Even today, I cringe when I see peanut butter. I think it was the one from high school that did me in. It looked and tasted like government surplus. Ugh.

I remember the way it looked, sounded, and smelled. My favorite thing to ear was the fish sticks with tartar sauce. The milk came in square cartons also.

Yes. It smelled like those 3 finger buttercookies they used to make. They would melt in your mouth. I've noticed that they tried to make them for Walgreens to sell, but the store bought brand just isn't the same. We had lunch at 12:00, and the cookies were still warm.

I'm not really too sure. Obviously nothing I ate killed me. I do remember that in kindergarten they tried to make us eat everything on our plates before we would leave, and one day that meant eating nasty cole slaw. So I, being wise stuck my napkin on top of my cole slaw so they never noticed.

I wish I could forget the food...ugh. The one good cafeteria memory I have is the sloppy joe fight.
