I was wondering if I could have two DSL modems hooked up at the same time on differnt computes instead of buying a router any suggestions would be vary helpful thank you

No. You can't do that unless you have two different phone lines. One modem per phone line.

Phoneco will charge you double (and you may need 2 phone lines for 2 DSL accounts - more money).
In 3 months, you will have paid for a router.

No you can not. In order to connect two computer to the same DSL line, you have to have a hardware deivce that shares the signal between the two computers. That device is a router. Nothing else will allow you to do it.

Yes. Call your DSL company and they should be able to supply you with another modem. They will charge, but it will be a package deal with two as opposed to one.
