I just moved into the Bryn Mawr area of Minneapolis - The yard is full of Hostas that I'm already sick of.
I have lots and lots of shade.

perennials for shade include: Bleeding Heart, Ferns, Lungwort, Creeping Jenny, Astillbe

There are tons of different types of hostas out there. Many with different hues of green, white and blue and you could add some new varieties if you're tired of the ones you have.

Depending on your levels of shade around the yard, you might be able to sneak in a couple part shade perennials like phlox, coneflower, bee balm and shasta daisies.

For additional color in the summer there are some annuals you could plant in with the hostas: impatiens and coleus are nice.

For early spring color, before the leaves are full on the trees, try planting some spring bulbs.
