To be more specific i bought a new case and motherboard, which i will use to start building my computer. I know the motherboard can fit in here, because i've seen it before. The problem is that, the little cutout in the back of the computer, where you install the face plate for the connectors i put in, and i can't get it to fit perfectly with my motherboard.

On the other hand, what screws do i use to install the motherboard? The case came with a little bag of about 40 screws, ranging from tiny ones, to gold ones, which have about 12 of those, though the motherboard only requires 9.

Can anybody help me out?

There are "standoffs" which elevate the mobo off of the floorplate of the case, made of brass or plastic they must be installed first. Put the mobo into position, take a pencil and mark the holes through the mobo to the floorplate holes. Take the standoffs and install them into the marked holes. Insert the mobo, and use the Phillips screws through the mobo into the standoffs. After the standoffs are installed the ports on the mobo should line up to the faceplate, be careful, sometimes those tabs on the faceplate will end up inside of a port during mounting. Bend the tabs back a bit so they still contact the outside edges of the port surfaces, but do not end up inside of the ports.

In a nutshell:
....
- Replace the ATX Connector Plate
- Determine Motherboard Mounting Location
- Install the Motherboard Standoffs
- Fasten the Motherboard
...
You can always try out which screw will fit the gold standoffs before putting them in.

You must install the gold standoffs in first. Different cases uses different screws. Some use the small thread and some use the big thread. Just try and see which one fits.
