I used to ask lots of provocative questions in Religion and Spirituality, often pretending to hold an extreme viewpoint I don't actually hold.
Those questions have been by far my most answered questions. Flushing out those on both sides of the spectrum with high levels of intolerance and hostility towards others.
I eventually got bored provoking and I now mostly ask silly (and sometimes stupid) questions (though usually still in Religion and Spirituality).

No,I try to keep my questions on topic without trying to instigate anything.The "jerks" will show themselves no matter what you ask.
