I used to ask lots of provocative questions in Religion and Spirituality, often pretending to hold an extreme viewpoint I don't actually hold.

Those questions have been by far my most answered questions. Flushing out those on both sides of the spectrum with high levels of intolerance and hostility towards others.

I eventually got bored provoking and I now mostly ask silly (and sometimes stupid) questions (though usually still in Religion and Spirituality).

Nearly all my questions are provocative. I do it cos I'm a jerk. I am searching for others of my kind.

No, not intentionally, but sadly, some of my more provocative questions have proven to be a pretty good indicator nonetheless...

No,I try to keep my questions on topic without trying to instigate anything.The "jerks" will show themselves no matter what you ask.
