Lying in bed -smelling all the smells (Mom got up at the butt crack of dawn to start the feast), and my Daddy calling me to come downstairs to watch the parade with him!! I'm over 50 and still spend Thanksgiving with Dad and my hubby and kids (only now I cook!!)--I still have to get there early enough to watch the Macy's parade with him! Wouldn't miss it for the world!

Oh yeah.. also me and my family go to eat then a movie, a few days after thanksgiving too!

Lighting sparklers with my family and my cousins when I was 5. Even though it was a long time ago it's my favorite because it reminds me how innocent I was and that some times it really is the small things that you remember the most.

All of the best memories are the ones where we have a full house of people and everyone is sitting around telling stories and laughing.

once i was having dinner @ a friend's house. i kinda felt outta place cuz most of my friend's family was there & i only knew my friend. so anywayz, we were eating and then there was this loud fart noise which came out just when the grandma stood up. i later found out that it came from a machine behind the glass case holding the china plates. thanksgiving always remind me of my friend cuz it was he who put it there just to make me smile & laugh.

l forgot to put the yeast in the dinner rolls. They were really heavy and sort of hard. We used them for a food war at each other across the dining room/kitchen. Kept me from crying for screwing up.

One time when I was 5 years old, I heard the turkey gobble while my mom was stuffing it. I still don't know if it was my imagination or my dad making the sound to scare me
