I heard that if you listen to Led Zepplins song 'Stairway to Heaven' backwards they talk about the devil?!? At first I didnt believe it but after listening to it after two or three times it sort of freaked me out. I found it at a website so if the site I entered didnt work look it up, if you find this interesting...tell me what you think!

Look guys...When Stairway to Heaven was released in the 70s you probably weren´t even born then...those days there were only magnetic tapes - like Shamrock - or LP´s on the market (real shitty analog things - nothing digital) so you would´t have been able to listen backwards to a song - so I think this is just a digital age related misinterpretation of a great song!!!

What? Of course you could listen to the songs backwards on a turntable back in the seventies! The miracles of analog...

Anyway, even if they were saying something demonic on the record (I've listened to it--they aren't), there's no proof that so-called backwards masking affects you. So don't worry about it, there are much more important things on your plate. Dinner, for instance...;-).

It's weird. Personally, when I listened to it backwards the first time I thought it sounded like they were saying a few words, but then I read what people said the words were backwards. After I read them it was easier to hear. So maybe it is demonic, or maybe it's just your brain finding what it was told is there.

A friend of mine played the record backwards for me a number of years ago and it defintely said "Here's to my friend Satan..."
