i have allowed pop up from the site but still nothing happening

my pop up bloker is on to accept from yahoo sites, but when i click on someone elses profile nothing comes up, they have set theirs on public as mine is, wots ie still new at pc. i use norton internet security aswell as a few others

The profile shows up in the same window, I don't see how a pop-up blocker may restrict it, especially if you are using the Yahoo! browser, it wouldn't block it's own content. Perhaps it may be something with computer or internet trouble, a bug in the program, or even Yahoo! Answers being incompatible with your computer or internet browser. I wish I could help, sorry that's all the information I know, and therefore that I can give.

ok.. check if you have multiple, if you're using IE.. you may have 2 or 3, thats what always happened to me, so just look for things like that, most pop up blockers have some kind of noise added to them, so when they block something you will know. so turn your speakers up, and listen and c if you can hear anything. um... another thing is that you can click on the pop up blocker, and see the options list and go down to where you see "viewed blocked pop ups" and if you don't see anything with that site url, or something like it, than its probably not your pop up blocker. it might be your internet service.

You can only view profiles, tracey, if people have filled one in. There are many people, for one reason or another, who don't like to give too much about themselves away, and on occasion, I can't say I blame them.
