Don't get your hopes up. Read "Armed Madhouse" by Greg Palast.
The establishment cheated us (the Corporatists) in the last two elections, and they didn't care in the last 6 elections because the candidates on both sides were going to do whatever they wanted.
There is only one question to ask any candidate now: "Are you Corporatist or Localist?"
Is there any instance when groups should have more rights than individuals? The Bill of Rights is supposed to protect individuals from groups and mobs, not races, not genders, not bank accounts, but individual people. If the Democrats are really interested in doing something useful, they have to remember this.

I think if Democrats were better positioned on the political spectrum, they would in fact make tsunami-like gains in November, most likely taking both houses. However, it looks to me like the anti-war fringe is calling the shots, and they seem to have a very narrow agenda and negative message. I don't think that will play well with the electorate.

I think the people are tired of the Bush agenda - his approval numbers are evidence of that - but the Democrats don't seem to have their act together enough to take advantage of it. I think they'll make some gains, but not sure that they'll take either house.

I'm split on how to answer this. No I hope the rep. win again but in a way I wish the Dem's would win and teach us how it's done. ha ha. plus I'm sick of their sniffling.
