Okay, I have this friend, I'll call her....Jessie. Well, Jessie has really been making me mad lately. Here's why:
I had this best friend in pre-school, and she and I became REALLY close. And then we went to grade school, and both went to different ones. And after that we didn't really speak again until now. I mean, in third grade, we sent letters to each other. Only one though. Because her grandma was a sub at my old school, and she let us talk to eachother through letters. (Like I would write her a letter, thern she's write me one...and so on. Well, now we're both in middle school together. And aren't as close anymore. Jessie..(My other friend), well, it seems like she's stealing her away from me. I don't know what I am. Maybe Jealous? What should I do? I don't want to talk to Emily...(My friend since preschool) and say like " I'm jealous of Jessie. She's stealing you away from me." I just don't know what to do. Help!

I know exactly how you feel. i've been through this feeling before, but not the same situation. It is jealousy and you just dont want to admit it because i sure didnt. What i would try to do is talk to your preschool friend about it and try not to be embarrassed. it'll probably be difficult, but you have to understand that people move on and maybe its time for you to move on and forget about your preschool friend. Dont let this ruin your friendship with jessie because jessie doesnt even know she's annoying you by being friends with the other girl.

Let Emily and Jessy be friends. You find some other Jessy. An individual has a right to choose whom he/she wants to meet or not.An individual has a right to turn down a friendship/relationship if he/she does not feel comfortable. Respect your friend Jessy.Respect her personal wishes/desires. Maybe you all three can be togather as much as possible.

Be kind to both of them and just remember you knew both of them before they knew each other.

Don't jump to conclusions and look for trouble. They are probably not meaning to make you feel left out. Anytime, there are three people together , most likely someone feels like they are being left out. Keep control of the situation and don't let that happen. It would be great if you all could become friends.

I had a friend named Jesse, well nickname.
I thought that we were good friends.
I am a lot older than Jesse.
We spent lots of time together just being friends.
Her mom even thought it was OK for us to be friends.

she met someone who wanted to be her bf.
Jesse thought that was good and soon
they were all talking about them getting married and
Jesse didn't talk to me much.
Soon, Jesse stopped talking to me altogether.
Jesse has not talked to me in over 5 year.
I'm sad Jesse is gone.

I found new friends.

You need to be friends with both of them cuz it is going to look like you are a jealous friend. You don't need to be jealous there are both your friends and you can hang with two of them

be confident about your friendship. it will be silly to mention this type of feeling to your friend. instead try to spend more quality time with your friend and doing things which she likes in your company
