I would like to download it, but there is no obvious way to download this from the website it's on.

There are two possible methods, one is to view the source code of the page and find the full URL of the video. Then you can place that into a download manager and have it saved to your hard drive.
The other is to search through your cached files, most likely in the Temporary Internet Files directory. If the video is in a standard format, it should be saved here. You can simply copy and paste it to another folder for safe keeping.
Note that this will only work if you have not changed the default settings of your browser to save 0% of Files for caching, and to automatically empty the cache folder when you close the browser.

...it may already be in your temp Internet folder..
look in documents& setting (not my documents).
If you know the name of the file, then you can search (file find)

there are some programs that do it - but quality is poor at best.
