i get all the information from the city i used to live in, in california now that i live in arkansas even after updating my yahoo account i still get california news instead of arkansas news when i open my home page.

If you are referring to MY.YAHOO.COM then you have to edit your page. First delete the items that you don't want and add the new ones.
Remove by clicking edit or X at the top right of each section of your page.
Click + add contents (should be on the left close to the top page) to add contents.
For weather, click the temperature and change your location.

P.S. Hope you enjoy the move. A few Californians had moved to Arkansas through the years. We like to keep Arkansas as a secret!

You may need to delete the cookie that has your old info stored. To do this, go to Temporary Internet Files and find cookies that end with "@yahoo.com." Delete them.
