I wont get mad because you are only asking a question. To tell you the truth I wouldve wanted to come America. Many of the inventions in America today were made by Black people and of course we had access to western technology. The only thing that would get me pissed is the way the white people took us in America as slaves. If only the white people in that time were God loving people and had respect for all humanity regarding race or whatever I would go to America and not stay in Africa.

Why did you come here, to benefit from slavery? So without slavery this country as well as all in the Americas would not be the same today. It could be much worst many things come into play when building a nation. A country main economy was slavery. So everything branch out from their.
But of course your motive was to get blacks to realize they would be better here than Africa. Not true, if slavery didn't happen you would not be here. If it wasn't for people who fought for equal rights then it would be worst for blacks to be here than in Africa.
The slightest thing WILL change history slavery the greatest migration across the sea it is a massive force in the development of history. Being that all of America depended on it.

I'm black. I would have loved to not be here in America as a result of slavery. I would love to be in Africa if it weren't colonized by the Europeans and invaded by the Arabs. You see, before these invasions, African was nothing like it is today. The African lived with dignity. All of the poverty, famine, violence, and disease in a direct result of those invasions. The outsiders came in, took what they wanted, then left it in ruins. So as Africa is now, I don't know if I want to be there. I might as well stay in America because crazy issues exist everywhere now.

Yes, I would rather have loads of my ancestors stay alive, rather than die on ships just getting to America, being beaten, lynched, spat on by soceity, and treated like a puppet, and still be discriminated against today. Yea I'd choose to keep my ancestors in Africa.
Nice question..I guess, But a Nice question with a obvious answer.

your Russian wow how nice it is to meet you..ok in my life i am mixed breed, i am in no ways African American so i cannot speak for them but i do know they are a very proud culture and what they went through was by all means wrong but it also made them very strong, and many times when they thought they couldn't get up they did and they made sure their people carried on. As other cultures have done such as the Jewish, and the native American..we all have sad stories..do we wish it wouldn't have happen yes of course do we regret who we have became because of our ancestors of course not...that is whats special about them..they didn't give up
May you be blessed and i hope your happy here..

speaking as someone inhabiting a fair skinned body, there were plenty enough black people who travelled to europe etc under their own steam without being slaves and before the slave trade started. just not many stayed as the climate was inhospitably chilly :-) and the locals a bit prejudiced, of course.

I say I'd rather that the caucasians stayed in Europe. I am Hispanic my ancestry comes from the African, Native American, and Spanish; and even though I wouldn't be hear if it weren't for slavery my Native American and African ancestors would not have suffered as much if the Europeans hadn't enslaved and killed there people

Most, if not all, slaves who were born in Africa were sold into slavery by other blacks. So lets put the ball in the right court.
