Most companies that sell consumer items no longer ship COD (cash on delivery). Bad checks are only part of the problem. The biggest problem is the time it takes to receive the proceeds from the shipping carrier. Profit margins are so slim that what little profit might be realized are quickly erased because the seller has to wait for the money.

Best advice is to use a debit or a secured credit card to pay for items that you want to have shipped to you. Either will work just fine.
