Yes, it does PREVENT Urinary Track Infection! But it's doesn't CURE it.
Once you have it, you must take medication to clear it up and then the Cranberry will keep the track free from further infections. I have used it for years and if I don't take it, I will have a flare up. I don't care for Cranberry Juice it's self, so I depend on taking it in the form of Caps.

First off, I am not in the medical field, but have had my share of UTIs before and Cranberry juice reduces the pain. And I have been told that it will help prevent them but will not completely prevent them. And the UTI will not reduce fertility unless what initially caused it reduces fertility.

any juice (prune juice is the best) has a diuretic effect. this will make you urinate more frequently. this has the effect of washing out the toxins in the system. It wont stop an infection but it will help with the severity and duration .
Will a uti reduce your fertility, depends on the severity.

cranberry juice does help to treat/prevent UTIs, but only unsweetened juice, so no ocean spray or the like. the sugar actually helps the bacteria grow.
