August is some what a slow month in most all Mexican resorts the kids are in school. So you will find fewer young people. You won't have more older just fewer younger.

Cancun is definitely an open door to your dream holiday only like this place hotelbye to get there. Cancun boasts state-of-the-art lodge facilities on the list of coolest clubs, bars, and malls only some legs far from the most beautiful beaches on earth.Among the areas you need to see may be the Isla Mujeres. Here, the cool breezes blow across the island throughout the day and evening and here you will like: the snorkelling, the scuba diving, the swimming with dolphins, the rural beaches for moonlight walks and private discussions, and results of waterfront restaurants surrounded by great shopping and lovely normal scenery. If you're buying a Cancun location place to relax, Isla Mujeres is the area to come.

The end of august is a low season in Cancun. At that time of the year probably you will find many executives because thats when companies from every part of the world, in particular from Mexico and the USA, have business conventions.

The Oasis is a very large hotel complex, and has several buildings, not just the one. It' OK, nothing special.

Not only is it slow, but since th hurrican last year not much is going on. Most cruise lines do not even stop there anymore because they have not been able to re-build the cruise port yet.
