I just recently went to my gyno because I haven't received a period for this month and he did an ultra sound and didn't see anything. He requested that I get a blood test done and sure enough it came back with a 294 HCG level which is positive for pregnancy.Keep in mind I've been on BCP's and take them everyday at 12p.m. I've been getting my period everymonth like clock work and now I'm pregnant. I already have a 7 1/2 year old and a 16 month old.

Actually a friend of mine just got pregnant about 2 months ago on BCP's. Feel lucky, but maybe you should add to your birth control next time if you're not wanting another baby so soon. Just remember, BCP's are only about 92-95% effective. Think of it this way, most married couples have sex at least 100 times a year. So, out of every 100 times you have sex, you can get pregnant possibly 5 - 8 times.

the birth control pill isn't valuable till you've been on it for per week. some manufacturers as a lot as a month so there is an threat you may be pregnant if it became unprotected. i ought to go see a docot or in some days take a being pregnant try. that's continuously a threat to get pregnant at the same time as on the pill. its purely ninety 9% valuable. in case you imagine you're infertile or do not ovulate you ought to also see a clinical professional to make certain if thats genuine or something is incorrect causing your classes to be liike that.

If you take BCP and you miss, you can get pregnant. If you take some types of ANTIBIOTICS, and some other meds, while you are on BCP, you can get pregnant! If you vomit or have diarrhea, shortly after taking a BCP, you can get pregnant because your body hasn't had time to absorb it!

I was on BCP when I got pregnant with my 4 year old. I didn't even realize I was pregnant until I was nearly 12 weeks, because I still "spotted" when I should have been having a period, and I kept on taking the pills, right up until the day I took the Pregnancy test.

Even though it wasn't planned, she has been a great blessing, not only to me, but to her sisters, and her grandma. (My marriage was already very rocky, and I got a divorce right after she was born. He accused me of "getting pregnant to trap him", as if you can trap a married man, that has two children already... what a moron, huh?)

i have gotten pregnant while on the depo and also while taking estrostep that is a type of bcp. So i can say your not the only one. what might have happend is that you and your other half may be destined to have another child. and a pregnacy wont show up on ultrasound untill the hcg levels are in the thousands that is usally about 6-8 weeks.

My daughter was conceived while her mom was on BCPs. So no you aren't the only one. As the statements go BCPs are not 100% effective. I guess and baby's momma fall into that 1 or 0.1 % category. Best of luck to you with your pregnancy.

The only birth control method that is 100% effective is abstinence. While BCP do provide a higher efficiency rate than nothing at all, they still aren't 100%. I know of people who have had their tubes tied and have still gotten pregnant.

I got pregnant on BCP because mine weren't strong enough. You should talk to your Dr. about stronger ones or seems how you'll already be in the hospital in 8 months have your tubes tied. You'll already be soar from having your baby you probley won't even feel anything else. good luck :)

I was on BCP when I got pregnant. I was using a cream with antibiotics in it. I did not know the cream contained them in it. The antibiotics knocked out the BCP.

That was almost 12yrs ago, thank goodness they give you the fact sheets with your prescriptions now. Plus I went with an IUD now.
