What is your favorite writing 'utensil'? A pencil, pen, ink, gel, roller, etc, and what color do you prefer?

My favorite writing ustensil is the pen and i like blue,purple or black.

I like pencil, but you really can't use them too much in everyday life because:

1. They are erasable and most of the time when you are physically writing, you are signing something.

2. They have to be sharpened frequently which is not much fun.

So, I am often forced to use a nice blue ball point pen. I hate black ink.

Black roller pen that glides easily over the paper. Black is the best color because it is sleek and standard in the professional field. You don't see businesses handing out pink, purple, green, red, etc. pens to customers. Do you?

A fine-point ballpoint pen, preferably in an interesting color such as purple. I can't stand pencils or broad-point pens.

roller gel pen. it glides easy and its smooth to write with. smears easily though, but its pretty when the ink dries (just a regular black ink)

I have a collection of pens. Most of them write in black or blue ink, but they are ostentatious in design: purple feathers, a tiger, a domestic cat, a marionnette cat, Hello Kitty, a blue bejeweled butterfly, LSU (Lousiana State University) logo, etc.. But my favorite one is probably the one that is printed with alligators and says: 'Louisiana...more alligators than people'.
