I would choose a lamb. Pigs are disgusting and, if they get bored and there's a small hole in the pen, they'll find out how to get out. Trust me. I've been down that road and it's not a fun time running around your barn trying to catch a runaway pig. The worst part was that I thought he wouldn't be able to get out so I never worried about his pen until I walked in and he wasnt there. Lambs aren't very smart. They run the same way every time so they are quite easy to catch unless you get an exceptionally smart one.

I tend to have to spend more money on food for the pig. At my fair's auction, both usually go for about the same price. Lambs definately are more profitable especially if you're the one paying for their food and vet care like me.

Definitely a pig. Get a sow and breed her. She'll bring much more than a lamb. Pigs can have 10-15 piglets, more or less but that's the average.

A lamb would be more profitable. You could get wool year after year without killing it (like the other poster said). All you get from a pig is bacon. What's the point of that? (Even though they are cute, lol)

A lamb. You can get a cash crop again and again without killing him/her.
