They may be alive, but they've got to be perfectly formed and strong swimmers!
The eggs have also got to be there and be of good quality.
I have a theory that a pregnancy may happen, but will miscarry until both are healthy.
Remember you have to nourish yourselves well too.
Avoid toxins etc.
