evidently it was. A man cheat because he feel the grass is greener on the other side and the majority of time it not, then he has to come crawling back begging for forgiveness.

But if there was really nothing missing or nothing wrong, then how could the person be in a position to cheat to begin with? If the marriage is truly good for both spouses, then how can cheating occur? I think someone's not being honest if they really say there was nothing wrong. I'm not saying there can't be exceptions, but I think in most situations, there must be an underlying problem for this to happen. Perhaps the problem is only with the cheating spouse; maybe the other spouse doesn't realize a problem exists. I guess my point is this: In most situations in which cheating is a factor, there is usually a problem (or problems) that exists, whether or not the people involved even realize it.

I beliee people look for answers outside the marriage. MEN LOVE ATTENTION from others. I think it is totally about him, not the wife. SHe could have looked like an angel and treated like a king. The minute the ol' hag from the office smiles at him, he's ready to blow. Divorce his a$$ and take all that you can.

You guys need to sit down and really talk. He needs to come clean on whats going on.
If you are committed to someone, you don't cheat just for the heck of it.

If there's nothing wrong with the marriage, perhaps there's something wrong with him. He might be feeling old and want reassurance he's still desirable. He might feel he's in a rut and want to feel a bit of excitement. He might want to get your attention. The only way to know is to ask. And don't accept "I don't know." He knows. If he's unwilling (or afraid) to be honest with you, then perhaps there IS something wrong in the marriage.

Men forget how good they have it at home, some cutie comes on to him, he thinks he is king sh*t, and plays into her hands...then afterwards, he remembers all the good stuff he just may have thrown away...and usually panics. Men are people, no different than anyone else. Someone makes us feel good about ourselves and....well, you know the story. Trust me, the infidelity meant absolutely nothing except a shot in the ego.
