Since the French have been so axious to duck issues and push appeasement under Chirac can they be considered leaders in this world?? The French gave in to riots over job issues and gave up their empire because they lacked the ability to win against the Arabs and Viet Namese. How can the world look to them when things are tough. Who needs instructions on how to surrender??C

If you mean Chamberlain, yes Chirac and the rest of the European leaders (except Blair) plus the Democrats in this country are appeasers.

So you are saying the US won against the Vietnamese? Against the Arabs? People don't like having colonial gvts. imposed against them, they fight it just like France fought the Nazis. Get it? So who was right about going into Iraq--your guy bush or France? Obviously, France. Check out the great new horrible confederation of Iran, Russia, and China that your guy bush brought into being.
